Arriviamo in Italia!

5:06 pm and I'm watching hubbie play with the kids in the pool. We arrived at the villa yesterday mid day after 24 hours of planes and car rides from San Francisco to Milan to bonvicino. It's supposed to rain tomorrow so we gotta get as much swimming in for the kids as possible! We are all crazy jet lagged and the girls alternated waking up throughout the night so by dawn I was knackered. I slept off an on till 4pm with the girls in turn while clay went to market, Reconnected with old friends and brought back boxes of local produce. Clay says "so you slept through the lady honking outside and yelling about a goat and three dogs". Not sure what exactly happened but apparently there was an incident involving goat and three dogs in which the goat got the short end of the stick and she is driving around looking for the owners of the culprits. Clay runs out of the house saying "shhhhh! Bimbis dormano!" And the lady signs off exclaiming that we have a beautiful house and should come visit her cafe. Welcome to the Piemonte countryside
